Job Description IT Support Engineer Our Client is an established bank based in Central London. They are looking to recruit an IT Support Analyst with at least 5 plus years hands-on expertise of working within IT Support and Infrastructure. The following are list of skills required for the position: • Microsoft Windows (all versions) experience to a high level (troubleshoot and effectively resolve issues by research/using knowledge bases in a confident way). • Active Directory to a high level - security groups, administration/deployment, LDAP, ADSI. • Citrix XenApps - Administration, Maintenance and Support of existing Citrix XenApps server farm • Windows Server Environment 2012/2016 - design, deployment, maintenance and support. • VM-Ware virtualisation environments. • Backups (various and ability to use different applications). • Networking - design/troubleshoot/installation (VLAN, routing, switching, TCP/IP and OSI) • Router maintenance - wireless configuration, installation and setups. • PowerShell to a competent level (backup/azure/EMC). • VPN Administration and Deployment. • DNS - administration of DNS internal and external. The salary for this position with be circa £45K - £55K. This is a hybrid position and you will be required to be in the office at least 3 days a week. IT Support Engineer (2nd line Windows 0365) Nr. Loughborough onsite to £35k Do you have experience of supporting Windows IT infrastructure? You could be progressing your career at a small, growing MSP that provide a comprehensive range of IT services across server and network support, data centres and IT consultancy. As an IT Support Engineer you'll support day to day activity on clients' IT networks but have a focus on assisting with new server and network projects, including designing and installing new networks from scratch through to deploying additional servers. You'll respond to support requests from fully managed clients, ensuring strict SLAs are met and provide pro-active monitoring and support. Location / WFH: You'll join a small, friendly team based near Loughborough and will also sometimes be required to travel to clients sites or data centres. Job Description Project Manager with Data Centre Move - City Our Client is looking to recruit a Project Manager with extensive hands-on expertise in moving a company from one building to another. You must have at least Project Management expertise and 3 to 5 years experience of moving the data centre and infrastructure carefully and efficiently. You will be required to project plan, conduct feasibility of the data centre move and then put the plan in to action. Must be someone who has been through the full life cycle from start to finish as a Project Manager. You will be involved with project planning and delivering the hardware and software moves stake holders and with senior management. The Client uses Microsoft Windows for the business and you must therefore have expert knowledge of this and including some of the following: Must have experience of the following as a minimum: Active Directory and SCCM server management. Disaster Recovery Swift Messaging Windows Server EMC SAN Ability to communicate effectively at all levels. You will be working in a small team. Any experience from the banking World would be handy.
