Your future duties and responsibilities • Oversee the successful delivery of applications services across over 800 applications, ensuring that service levels are met and maintained across multiple local authority service lines. • Maintain strong, positive relationships with clients and key stakeholders, ensuring that services meet contractual obligations and deliver value. • Lead a large, diverse team, coordinating efforts between UK-based and global CGI teams to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery. • Lead the ongoing transformation of our service delivery model, driving innovation and ensuring the service meets current and future client needs. • Oversee service transition processes, ensuring a smooth handover between phases of delivery and efficient resource coordination across multiple locations. • Ensure that all service activities comply with contractual obligations and performance metrics, driving continuous improvement in service quality. Senior Engineer - Product Configuration
Job Title: Senior Engineer - Product Configuration & Change Location: Glasgow, Bristol, or Broad Oak. Salary: Circa £44,000 depending on skills and experience What you'll be doing: Assisting in the co-ordination of the delivery of Canadian River Class Destroyer Configuration Management Capability Co-ordinating the implementation of appropriate business rules and controls for each phase of the product lifecycle and ensuring the required level of reporting is delivered Providing support for configuration management of 3D model lock down and archiving activities, whilst overseeing the configuration control of 3D model baselines Supporting the Principal Engineer in maintaining the River Class Destroyer Configuration Management baselines Aiding in the development of the programme baselines to include Functional Baselines, Allocated Baselines and Product Baselines Developing, deploying, and governing of the Configuration Item (CI) strategy Your skills and experiences: Essential: STEM Degree qualified Experience in end-to-end engineering lifecycle with an understanding of the Configuration Management lifecycle Proficient in using Product Data Management (PDM) / Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems i.e. TeamCentre, or Windchill Familiarity working with product baselines Desirable: Exposure working within a comparable/similar industry Engineers at all levels should possess an academic qualification in Engineering or other related STEM subjects as well as specific (either academic or professional) qualifications and become recognised as Incorporated or Chartered Engineers through an appropriate recognised professional institution. Engineers are encouraged, and will be supported, to achieve the relevant accreditation. Preference will be given to candidates who are already professionally registered.
