I have been asked by a client for a number of items designed and printed. I've so far only designed things for people, but I think it's time to find a printing company to provide prints for me when needed.
My client wants, flyers, letterheads, comp slips, business cards, badges, and balloons! And only a small number of each i.e. 50-100 of each.
Can anyone point me in the right direction of some printers that will provide all of these things, and in these smaller quantities?
Many thanks

It would be your responsibility to make sure the print turns out well. You therefore need to know the difference between litho and digital print. CMYK or individual spot colours. Foil print, UV, embossing and debossing as additional enhancements. -

Check out your local area for the nearest one to you but be aware that the beast of the process is geared for short quantities and not for finite print finishing (special spot colours). Another point is to be aware of the limitations to available paper stock although most paper companies are bringing out new lines. Again a good local digital printer will be able to advise and guide you on this.
With regards to the promotional items (badges, balloons) you will be restricted to minimum quantities and generally single colour. Basically if your client only wants 50 balloons and minimum quantity is 200 then you have to advise of this. Again check your local area first (internet search, local directory).
If this is your first time contracting out then look to build trade alliances and as Calibre Designs mentioned eventually they will offer you reasonable trade prices.
Hope yhis helps -

I'm sorting out this project with small printing companies, and with digital printing just like you mentioned. I've also sourced a small company who do small quantities of balloons and badges too.
Thanks again.
