freelance in addition to full time work
victoria
I currently work full time but have had several approaches to do small freelance projects. I would love to take them up as I see myself going freelance full time in the future but I am unsure about the financial complexities of doing this - tax/ni, who (if anyone) should I register with etc? Also are there any other financial issues I need to consider?
I've found plenty of advice for freelance only but nothing relating to both!

I work for a creative agency that often uses freelancers.
If you go to BLM Flint Freelancer Registration you can register on our freelancers database, then there is a chance we'll use you if the right job comes up.

Nothing to stop you being both at the same time. I used to work full time and then kicked off the freelancing career by doing bits in the evenings/weekends etc.web_freak2006, post: 99 a écrit : Hey new to the forum- i didnt quite understand that post - how can you be put down as self employed when your still working fulltime? this is what i am wanting to do too and have just got the idea in my mind this morning. -

Well, its also 'freelancing' in its way, I suppose. But its not always a 'day' job.MickeyFinn, post: 110 a écrit : What's the day job notepad? Related to your freelancing work?
Celtic/Jazz crossover musician. Any event. Any Occaision. Busking if there's nothing else on that day.
It pays for the bills and the beer 🙂 -
