I have a question regarding agency payment obligations. I've been working for a company through a small agency for a while now and there's absolutely no consistency in when I get paid.

I invoice weekly and the initial contract stated that the company would pay the agent after 4 weeks. Whilst this was a pain, it was something I could work with as it meant I would be continued to paid after I had left for 4 weeks or so.

The problem is that this has now gone out to 5 or 6 weeks and when I do get paid its sporadically. For instance I got paid 3 weeks ago for 3 weeks work but could only get paid 1 week next time. This is causing me to try and continuously chase and of course it always falls at the worst times.
I have always been paid and I'm not massively concerned about getting ripped off but I really do need to get some consistency in this.

Has anyone else ever faced a similar situation and if so, did you manage to resolve it?
