I have been freelancing a while. Am set up as a limited company for tax purposes. I was wondering whether anyone had any information on the average mark up taken by recruitment agencies on a freelancer's day rate. I am in a position to contract directly with my client now (whereas before I was contracted to the recruitment agency who were dealing with my client). I am trying to work out how much the agency have been charging my client and the mark up the former have been making on my daily labour.
