Hey everyone,
I recently wrapped up my preparation for the FCP_FAZ_AN-7.4 exam, and I wanted to share a few lessons I learned along the way, especially the mistakes I wish I’d avoided earlier. Hopefully, this helps anyone else working toward their Fortinet certification.
The biggest mistake I made early on was relying too heavily on random YouTube videos and outdated notes. The FCP_FAZ_AN-7.4 exam focuses a lot on hands-on configuration and troubleshooting concepts, so just memorizing theory isn’t enough. You really need to understand how FortiAnalyzer and FortiManager interact in real-world scenarios.
Another common pitfall is skipping practice questions. Working through realistic fortinet certification exams questions made a huge difference in identifying my weak areas. I found a reliable collection of updated questions and study materials on Pass4Future, which helped me focus on what actually matters for the exam.
Finally, don’t cram in the last few days. Instead, schedule shorter, consistent study sessions and review key topics regularly. Confidence comes from understanding, not memorizing.
Good luck to everyone preparing, you’ve got this!
