Senior DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes AWS EKS Terraform) London / WFH to £120k

Are you a technologist DevOps Engineer with an Infrastructure / Networking background who enjoys collaborating and working on complex systems with cutting edge technology?

You could be joining a hugely profitable Hedge Fund that invest in sports betting markets and progressing your career in a senior, hands-on role where you'll be challenged and collaborate to solve problems and influence technology choices and best practice?

As a Senior DevOps Engineer you will join a small team responsible for the core platform. You'll

introduce new technology to improve the speed, efficiency and reliability of the core platform and tune existing tools to improve developer experience with a focus on the automation of development and deployment processes (CI/CD).

You'll be working with a modern tech stack with a focus on AWS, Kubernetes and Terraform, collaborating with software engineering teams to provide advice and subject matter expertise, respond to incidents and assist with troubleshooting.

The company prides itself on innovation and first class infrastructure and systems; you'll seek to make continual improvements and drive the adoption of Infrastructure as Code practices working with a wide range of technologies.

Location / WFH:

You'll be based in fantastic offices in a vibrant area of London with in-house gym and steam room, games room with pool tables and dart boards, library and free high quality catering (breakfast, lunch, dinner) from the onsite chef with flexibility to work from home two days a week.

About you:

• You have DevOps experience with production AWS cloud technology deployments with a good understanding of security best practices
• You come from an Infrastructure / Networking or Systems Administration background
• You have strong Kubernetes, Amazon EKS experience
• You have strong Terraform IaC experience
• You have experience with production monitoring and alerting of microservice based environments
• You have a strong knowledge of Linux and associated scripting languages (Python, bash, PowerShell)
• You're a collaborative communicator with great communication skills
