DURATION: 6 MONTH INITIAL CONTRACT


An IBM EntireX consultant is required in managing and supporting Software AG/IBM EntireX under BS2000, ensuring its stability, performance, and alignment with business objectives.


Must Have Technical Skills


• EntireX knowledge: In-depth understanding of EntireX, including its architecture, functionality, and dependencies.
Software AG/IBM EntireX (10.5+) under BS2000

§ EntireX Security


§ Broker ACI & RPC knowledge


§ EntireX Broker Jobs & Configuration


• Operating Systems: Knowledge of BS2000 ( Fujitsu Mainframe ) including Startup JCL

Nice to Have Technical Skills


• EntireX Listeners
EntireX Reliable RPC Understanding
EntireX Application Monitoring
EntireX RPC-ACI Bridge
Operating Systems: Linux
Programming languages: Natural, Assembler or C.

Support and Maintenance Skills


• Troubleshooting: Ability to identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues related to EntireX.
Debugging: Proficiency in debugging techniques and tools.
Performance optimization: Knowledge of performance optimization techniques and tools to ensure EntireX can scale.
Documentation: Ability to create and maintain technical documentation, such as user guides, release notes, and troubleshooting guides.

Security


• Security best practices: Knowledge of EntireX security configuration to ensure the EntireX implementation follows the security best practice guidelines.

Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply. Please note successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment which can take up to a minimum 10 weeks.
